The importance of networking

I have been doing a lot of networking recently and I have to say, I am proud of myself. The world of slave interpreters is pretty small and in some type of way, we all need to stick together. Besides, when it comes to a subject so sensitive, I am always curious to know how others are handling it, and what they are thinking. I can be pretty blunt with how I think about the lives of slaves but others have different ideas and it’s always good to hear what is being discussed. Hopefully some great discussion and good connections can be made with this outreach that I am trying to do. We shall see what happens and where all this great conversation leads me.
